Li'l Smooch Spiders are miniature versions of Smooch Spiders that first appear in Yoshi's Woolly World. They attack the player by crawling into them and by trying to kiss them and the player can also get hurt if the player touches them. To defeat them, the player must either throw a Yarn Ball at them, swallow them (this cannot be done with regular, larger Smooch Spiders) or simply jump on them.

Li'l Smooch Spiders only appear in the level Lair of the Smooch Spiders.

Names in other languages[edit]

Smooch Spiders are four legged yellow and white spiders with large lips, spikes on their bottoms, and white beads for feet. They first appear in Yoshi's Woolly World and reappear in the remake Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. They attempt to hurt Yoshi by pulling the web Yoshi's on and then they try to kiss him to hurt him, or if Yoshi makes contact with it he will get hurt. Even though they cannot be defeated, they can be stunned by throwing a Yarn Ball at it. If a Smooch Spider kisses something other than Yoshi himself, Yoshi is able to eat the heart they make and turn it to a pink yarn ball. Shy Guys and beads can be found tangled in their webs.

Smooch Spiders only appear in the level Lair of the Smooch Spiders.
